Monday: This is Emma and Aubrey getting ready to go out and collect pheasant eggs. We have found another use for Wal-mart sacks, they keep shoes free of pheasant poop!
Grandpa and Ethan went fishing on Tuesday and Wednesday at Glassey Hole. They caught 6 fish and brought these two home. Ethan got a bite on his second cast, not bad for his first time steelhead fishing! The spring break steelhead fishing tradition lives on!! (Grandpa later showed us pictures of Lewis, Andrew, and Joey fishing at Glassey Hole in the exact same spots they fished this week.)
Here are my girls playing "house" under the lilac bushes, just like we did when we were kids.
On Wednesday night we went out to Joey and Kristy's for pizza and yummy homemade ice cream with brownies. The kids had fun running around outside playing hide and seek. Joey was on his way home, but we had to leave before he got there, sorry we missed you!
On Thursday, we buzzed up north to see Amelia Earhart at Indian Creek Elementary's wax museum. Who knew that Amelia Earhart had such cute dimples!! Erika did a great job!
On Friday, we took Grandma Capps to lunch at Idaho Pizza Company. She was hugs and kisses all around. She told us that she turns 79 in a couple weeks, but next year she gets to be 80!! She was really excited about that. She thought Aubrey was a hoot and kept telling her how cute she was. It was good to see Grandma in such good spirits. After lunch, the kids went to the Burnham's and Mom and I went to the temple. It is always so nice to go the temple and feel peace and be reminded of why we are all really here and that we can do it!
I just had to add these pics. Grandpa and Grandma Burnham had kitties at their house. They had three and then this week while we were here, the other cat had five more. That is a lot of cats. The kids loved holding them and playing with them. The one Aubrey has in the picture loved to chase after Aubrey's feet. We have had a fun week here and now it is time to head back home. It only took me an hour, but I did this post all by myself, pictures and all, whoo-hoo!
Yes, but my house was between the bushes and the house. That was the best hiding spot. That is where I hid during my fifth birthday party cause I didn't want to have my picture taken with wax lips.
