Ruby had an assignment in school to build a Leprechaun Trap. They could design it how ever they wanted. They were able to have their parents help. Papa Lew stepped in and built a glass trap. As you can see from the pictures above, the Leprechaun could climb up the ladder, try to grab the coin and oops! He falls in because the top would tilt and he falls in! Ruby filled it with Lucky Charms. She added the pictures from the Lucky Charms box so he would not get lonely. She also put a couch in there for the little guy to rest on.
While she was at recess, a Leprechaun came in her class and left her some gold coins! He was pretty tricky and got free from the trap...
Maybe next year!
I loved Ruby's trap, so creative!! Those Leprechauns are tricky! This gave Aubrey some ideas for next year as she wasn't able to catch one this year either.
