Finally got the pie safe finished. Started on it a little over 14 years ago. It has been in our basement and moved with us 3 times awaiting its revival. It belonged to my wifes grandpas parents that acquired it when they moved into there Spanish Fork home that they bought from some Icelanders. He estimates that it is 125+ years old. It got a new top, new side, new back, new shelves, new drawers, new tins and new knobs.
All I can say is WOW! That looks so great and so professional. I can't wait to see it in person. Such a talent you have discovered I think. Now it just needs to hold some of Dad's punkin' pies so it can be a true pie safe once again. Of course Dad's punkin' pies will never have a chance of being safe with you around! :)
